EjectDelay® and Interaction with other drugs

Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with benzocaine ointment. Because little, if any, of benzocaine ointment is absorbed into the blood, the risk of it interacting with another medicine is low.

This may not be a complete list of all interactions that may occur. Ask your health care provider if benzocaine ointment may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine.

A total of 6 drugs (13 brand and generic names) are known to interact with benzocaine topical:

EjectDelay® is an over-the-counter (OTC) FDA compliant medicine used for the delay of premature ejaculation in men.

Do not use EjectDelay® if you are allergic to benzocaine. Discuss your general health status with your doctor to ensure that you are healthy enough to engage in sexual activity. If you experience discomfort during sex, seek immediate medical help. EjectDelay® should not be used with other PE treatments. EjectDelay® should not be used with any topical product containing lidocaine. EjectDelay® does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
